Arducam DVP Camera Modules x Arduino GIGA R1 WiFi
Arducam recently unveiled five camera modules designed to seamlessly integrate with
Arduino’s latest development board, the Arduino GIGA R1 WiFi.
The Arduino GIGA R1 WiFi is designed for ambitious makers who want to step up their game. It levels the playing field for gamers, artists, sound designers, and anyone coming to the tech world with big ideas on a budget – because it packs advanced features into an accessible component, with the same form factor as the popular Mega and Due.
Dual-core 32-bit microcontroller (Cortex®-M7 at 480 MHz, Cortex®-M4 at 240 MHz).
Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® connectivity, Arduino IoT Cloud integration, enhanced security with ATECC608A.
4 UARTs, 3 I2C ports (1 more than predecessors), 2 SPI ports (1 more than predecessors), 1 FDCAN.
Maintains Mega and Due form factor, 76 GPIO pins, additional headers, VRTC for RTC battery, OFF pin for shutdown.
USB-A, 3.5mm jack (DAC0, DAC1, A7), USB-C®, JTAG, 20-pin Arducam camera connector.
Handles 6-24 volts (predecessors: up to 12 volts).
Arducam’s DVP camera modules, tailored for Arduino boards, offer a compelling advantage: exceptional affordability without compromising on quality. With a focus on delivering value, Arducam aims to provide cost-effective solutions that save users’ resources while maintaining superior performance. Leveraging the power of the DVP (Digital Video Port) interface, these camera modules seamlessly integrate with Arduino, empowering users to capture high-resolution images and videos without breaking the bank. Whether you’re a hobbyist, student, or professional, Arducam’s DVP camera modules provide an ideal combination of affordability and functionality for a wide range of Arduino projects.
In addition to the recently adapted five DVP camera modules for Arduino boards, Arducam has been at the forefront of adapting SPI cameras for Arduino earlier.
