To help customers evaluate the cameras or build a prototype with their own circuits without dealing with fine pin pitch flex cable or soldering balls, Arducam released the evaluation kit with camera breakout boards and Arducam USB2/USB3 camera shield without writing a single line of code.
The camera evaluation kit is based on the Mira220, an enhanced 1/2.7" 2.2MP global shutter image sensor. Its rapid evaluation setup includes an immediately available camera and adapter kit, which, together with the Arducam USB Camera Shield UI tool, ensures a seamless integration experience for developers.
Capable of high frame rates up to 80fps, the Mira220 specializes in capturing fast-paced scenes with exceptional clarity. The USB 3.0 interface ensures compatibility with a wide range of hardware, providing flexibility for a variety of applications. The addition of a low-distortion M12 lens enhances its adaptability to different imaging scenarios. Developers will appreciate the kit's user-friendliness, featuring developer-friendly SDKs and APIs for easy integration into existing projects. In addition, the Mira220 features high NIR sensitivity, making it ideal for applications that require enhanced performance in low-light conditions.
