Declaration of Compliance with NDAA Section 889 Requirements

1. Introduction

This declaration addresses the applicable requirements of Section 889 of the U.S. National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) related to covered telecommunications equipment and video surveillance equipment.

2. NDAA Section 889 Compliance Statement

Based on our product design, manufacturing processes, and supplier management practices, Arducam declares that:

1) Product Design Compliance

Arducam standard camera products are not designed to incorporate prohibited video surveillance equipment or systems manufactured by prohibited entities identified under NDAA Section 889.

2) Covered Equipment Statement

Arducam products are not manufactured using covered telecommunications equipment or video surveillance equipment prohibited under NDAA Section 889.

3) Prohibited Entity Statement

Arducam does not knowingly use or incorporate products or services from prohibited entities identified under NDAA Section 889, including but not limited to:

• Huawei Technologies Company
• ZTE Corporation
• Hytera Communications Corporation
• Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Company
• Dahua Technology Company

3. Company Use Statement

After reasonable inquiry, Arducam confirms that it does not use covered telecommunications equipment or services prohibited under NDAA Section 889 in its own operations.

4. Scope of This Declaration

This declaration applies to:

• Standard Arducam camera products
• Embedded camera modules
• Industrial camera solutions
• AI vision camera products
• Multi-camera systems supplied under the Arducam brand

This declaration applies specifically to the camera units themselves.

It does not automatically extend to third-party accessories or passive components, such as lenses, mechanical parts, or other external components, which may be sourced from various qualified global suppliers.

For customized OEM products, customer-specific solutions, or products incorporating customer-selected components, NDAA Section 889 compliance status may be reviewed separately based on individual project requirements and agreements.

5. Supply Chain and Manufacturing Approach

Arducam maintains reasonable supplier management and manufacturing control processes to support product quality, reliability, and compliance requirements.

Our products are developed through collaboration with qualified global suppliers, semiconductor partners, and manufacturing resources.
