5.Has your product ever worked properly?
Working with issue described below.
6.What problems are you experiencing?
I am able to grab images with fswebcam, but they are over exposed even in dark conditions. If I view the image in vlc (vlc v4l2:///dev/video2) I can adjust the exposure, but even at the minimum value it is too high (even in cloudy Scotland!).

The image shows the camera with gain and exposure set to minimum values in fairly low light conditions but the image is already starting to be over exposed.

7.What attempts at troubleshooting have you already made?

8.How would you like us to help you?
are there other controls available (apart from exposure and gain) that I need to use.

Hi,

Please attach me your hardware connetion diagram. For the single OV2311, we advise you use our MIPI_Camera driver instead of V4l2 driver.

Using V4l2 driver, you should have pivariety board. I want to ensure your hardware status.
