Automatic IR Cut Filter

I am using one of your OV5647 camera modules on a Pi ZeroW, running motioneyeOS. So far, the camera is working well, but I have noticed that I am getting inconsistent behavior of the automatic IR cut filter. Sometimes, the filter does not operate properly during the day and the camera is still using the IR filter. The motioneyeOS allows me to turn the camera LED on or off, and I have been setting the LED to off. Does it need to stay on for the automatic cut filter to work correctly?

Now the IR CUT is controlled by a photoresistor, which is more affected by light interference. Don’t change the outside light well
