Alfons Enrich's Raspbian PYTHON program of Arducam 18MP AR1820HS Camera module

I have problems trying to start the AR1820HS module camera.

My board:
Raspberry Pi 4B 2 Gb
OS:
Raspbian Buster with desktop and recommended software
Version:February 2020
Release date:2020-02-13
Kernel version:4.19

Raspi-Config:
Camera enabled
I2C enabled
GPU memory 180

After installing the MIPI_camera package following the README.md instructions, I get the following result:

./arducamstill -?

Open camera …
Found sensor ar1820 at address 37
Init camera status = 4100

./opencvGui

Found sensor ar1820 at address 37
Init camera status = 4100

Can you help me about this error, please ?

Alfons Enrich

Hi,

It appears that the encryption verification failed. Please contact arducam sales for replacement.

Hi,

I have already replaced the camera module with a new one (UC-549 Rev.B) and it still gives the same error.

Open camera…
Found sensor ar1820 at address 37
init camera status = 4100

(Raspberry Pi 4B 2Gb , Raspbian Buster Feb-2020, Camera module AR1820HS, Cable UC-376)

As a test, I tried the OV5647 camera module in the same configuration. It works fine.

What may be happening with AR1820HS ?

Thank you

Alfons Enrich

Hi,

I have tried this version of lib and it works fine with AR1820HS.
Will you incorporate the changes to the ‘official’ version on github?

Thanks,
