Introduction
This hardware guid helps for interfacing the Arducam IMX477/IMX577 camera module. There are hardware USB2 or USB3 camera shield develop boards and mipi adapter board which can well mate this camera module without designing any customize board, they can be used for fast evaluation for this camera module. You can use this camera module on Raspberry pi or Jetson Nano with proper hardware adapter board combination.

Use DSLR (Nikon & Canon) Lenses with the Sony IMX477 Sensor

Arducam provide adapters to help you use the high quality DSLR lenses on the C-Mount camera modules. Due to the smaller image sensor format of the IMX477 image sensor, there will be a crop factor at 5.6.
Fisheye lenses

It’s usually harder to find C/CS-Mount lenses with a short focal length, but with the M12 to CS-Mount adapter, you can easily use a M12 lens on the IMX477 camera module with CS-Mount.
Zoom lenses
Zoom lenses helps you switch between different field of you and capture the overall picture and the details of a part on a single camera module.
FPC Cables

To use embedded boards with a 15-pin MIPI CSI connector, Arducam provide 15-pin to 22-pin FPC with different cable length, other than the stock FPC cables included in the package.
Camera Cases
Arducam had prepared a metal case for the Arducam IMX477 camera module, and to make this whole setup more robust, we’ve included a CSI-HDMI adapter inside, so the cutout in the back sees an HDMI connector, and you can use standard HDMI cables to extend the CSI connection.
